2. click the "add poll" button up at the top

i linked an image, its all fucked up for me, i have to set overflow to visible on the container

no, those were separate steps

step 1. make a new thread
step 2. after the new thread has been submitted, there is still an "add a poll" button at the top when viewing the thread
