Never forget.
Oh I forgot...
When I was a teenie tiny tot, they taught us about 9/11 with a kids pop up book in class. (Spoiler: in the middle of the book, the towers got destroyed)
I haven't forgotten September 11th 1973.
Kissinger grumbled ... that American newspapers, 'instead of celebrating,' were 'bleeding because a pro-Communist government has been overthrown.'
'Isn't that something?' Nixon remarked.
'In the Eisenhower period, we would be heroes,' Kissinger said.
'Well, we didn't – as you know – our hand doesn't show on this one,' the president said.
I'm sorry I forgot... what are we talking about again?
I remember the terrified looks of all the Middle Eastern and Indian Subcontinent women on campus. "They were as ghosts, their eyes opened wider than I thought possible."

Fuck I'd be too. Islamophobia and xenophobia was so gnarly after 9/11 and still is nearly a quarter century later.
The last guy to find out about 9/11
