Having a baby in America without complications costs nearly $40,000 in hospital bills. If you have insurance the cost goes down to $12,000

How did the zoning for the mega center work if it interferes with the facilities in peoples homes, should that not have been accounted for in pre planning of the infrastructure?

You can do whatever you want if you pay enough money to bribe city council. Bribing politicians is almost always less expensive than doing the work correctly, paying for infrastructure improvements, or taking accountability for your actions.

Really wish "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" was less relevant, but here we are.

I recently got stuck at a train crossing for over 20 minutes due to the train simply sitting on the crossing. Deeply vexed by this experience, I decided to perform some research. I found this educational video that explains the current state of our railroads. If the contents of this video are true, then railroad companies are taking some some dangerous cost cutting measures to terrible effect.

Monsanto has been poisoning the planet since the 1940s, developing Agent Orange that was dumped on Vietnam, and glyphosate (round up) that they knew causes cancer but they kept it a secret for years. They made ads saying round up was safe for humans, kids, pets, but actually it gives you cancer. Ooops

The 2nd richest man in the world, CEO of Oracle, Larry Ellison said his company Sensei was going to affordably feed the entire world with greenhouses using AI. He bought Lanai, one of the islands of Hawaii, and over the past 10 years he's spent $500 million to grow lettuce which costs $24 per pound. The greenhouses were designed for a desert climate, built by a greenhouse company from Israel. Unfortunately for these genius billionaires, Hawaii is a very humid tropical rainforest, so the greenhouses they developed mold and broke down because they couldn't handle the high humidity.

How is this the way that resources get allocated??????? The market knows best? Lol

It's kinda telling that the last video rachel posted has a warning ON THE THUMBNAIL about what the words "climate change" means.
