assuming i don't soon quit the internet to go live in a cave (looking increasingly likely by the day tbh), it is my usual modus operandi to personally involve some number of people in the creation of musical art. but even if i'm AWOL, it'd be great if more wetfishers (and hyoomanze in general) were engaged with team efforts of this kind, since so many are talented and make such cool stuff independently! i've never personally done any networked collaboration successfully.. but why not, i wonder? it seems easy, right?

team #noisefish needs you! to think of a cool name for team noisefish! and yeah, ideas and input re: workflows is all sorts of welcome. one way we could do it is have like a shared folder of random material to sample, mix, and remix..  like having a garden of exotic hybrid plants to harvest for tonight's dinner. yum. should probably invent a github for audio data or something. aye, there's room for the exploring of different stylistic directions and it'd be most intuitive if some of them are just plain weird. i'm a bit busy with my own stuff at the moment, and after that the whole cave thing probably, but hey -- maybe something cool will happen. let's make it happen!

Oh cool, #noisefish is a real IRC channel.

I wish you better luck than 2017: https://wetfishonline.com/index.php?topic=199.msg2464;topicseen#msg2464

Lots of people, self included, say "yeah let's do it", but we never do it. Where's Shia when you need him.

According to that thread, two people who don't even use IRC said "yeah let's do it"

If you want to get involved, you should join #noisefish on IRC!

There are 19 musicians in there and sometimes they talk about making music / post links to their songs

Perhaps we could all collaborate to create a Wetfish album. For the lulz, perhaps? I know a lot of you guys are musicians of some sort on here. We wouldn't even need 100% music, we could also feature some retarded dialogue or something. I DON'T KNOW. IT'S AN IDEA.

necromancing this idea

1. We assemble a list of the dumbest shit ever said on wetfish and volunteers turn them into spoken vocal samples
2. We divide up the samples with whoever wants to participate and make music around them
3. ???
4. We definitely will not make any profit whatsoever from our godforsaken tomfoolery

This sounds really fun and could actually be somewhat profitable if there's some dumb shit at least half as legendary as brosis
