Yeah there was a big LARP battle this year where my burning man camp used a bunch of boffer swords and attempted to raid another camp. They caught us off guard though because they had their own arsenal of boffer weapons including bows and arrows. We did not expect the boffer arrow attack from the roof of their art car

There is a local group in fort collins called Ampguard. I use to do it as a kid, it's rather fun actually.
