Are people who don't spend a lot of time on the internet missing out?

Yes and no. I think it's just as important to socialize in real life as it is to make connections online. I've met some amazing people from all over the world on the internet that have changed my perspective on a lot of things. At the same time, we're social animals and spending all our time in front of computers is not the same as talking and snuggling with people in real life.

I think its both-and. Only because there is a whole world out there, internet being part of this modern world. I think overall, you are missing out on life less when you are off the internet. Though, I'm bias, bc I've spent most my life off the internet. Most interactions I've had on the internet have been either relatively unhealthy or simply using it as a tool for research/outreach.
