Assuming this conversation from Slack is real, it looks like Reddit has been in a direct relationship with the liberal brainwashing group known as "Correct the Record" as well as actively updating their algorithms to prevent conservative / "alt right" subreddits like r/The_Donald from appearing on the reddit home page.

What do you think? Is this real? Is reddit actively manipulating their users?

There were some posts on r/Conspiracy last week about this guy, Andrew Picard (real name Andrew Boeckman), getting arrested for possessing and sharing thousands of images and videos of child pornography. This guy Andrew was born into a super wealthy family and was legally allowed in UK courts to use his mother's maiden name as his last name to protect the prestige of his family name. But they didn't stop there--they also went on a legal campaign trying to scrub any references to the name Boeckman from the internet, threatening legal action against websites including Reddit.

QuoteAndrew Picard, who owned 1,185 indecent images of children, as well as videos of a three-year-old being raped and children being forced to have sex with dogs, was allowed to use his Mother?s maiden name by the UK courts in order to protect his wealthy family?s reputation.

For the record, this pedophile's father is Phillip J Boeckman, a wealthy lawyer whose clients have included Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan.

what

Somehow I doubt anyone from the community you have cultivated is going to have anything negative to say about banning alternative viewpoints and censorship.

Sounds like you might have something to say about it though!

I think conservatives should be banned from the internet so they can't spread their hate speech so i'm glad.

Care to elaborate on this? What's hateful about wanting a smaller government and less taxes?

Found this cool subreddit for discussing cases of censorship on reddit. Posts range from users complaining about being banned to in depth analyses of bot accounts being used to shill political opinions.

That's a very shitty mod. However, not having links to said articles, they probably belong in /r/politics rather than news, and politics are a no-no in news apparently. At least that's what I'd assume they're treating them as.
