Did you know that George Bush Sr. was the head of the CIA before he became president? Imagine if the leader of the KGB became the president of Russia.

Putin only attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the KGB. He resigned from the KGB when communism began to fall, and then later became the Director (head) of the FSB.
The FSB, under Putin's control, was said to have bombed apartment buildings in Russia as a false flag blaming Chechnya terrorists. This was a very successful way to raise Putin's popularity in only a few months, allowing Putin to become the President.
