Anyone who needs any advice on firearms, needs one inspected, fixed, or needs training on their use may contact me.  I have helped a lot of people in terms of training who had never touched a firearm before, and I have the equipment knowledge and tools for most firearm repairs.

Also if you are thinking of building your own rifle (always a good idea, you get more for cheaper), feel free to contact me about discussing and planning out the details of your build.

Obviously this is an extreme example, but the fact is you can't use a suppressor on a fully automatic weapon for very long. Also, calling it a "silencer" is a hollywood meme, it really doesn't make the gun *that* much quieter, it's still an explosion coming out of a tiny tube. If you think a suppressor sounds like it does in movies, you've probably never fired a gun.

that is quite accurate, though I am an advocate for personal defense/firearms and I want to own a gun some time in the future

It sounds quiet in the video but you can still hear it echoing. Also, a suppressor isn't going to prevent the extremely loud cracking sound you get when firing supersonic bullets

Yeah, so just for the uninformed or misinformed, "silencers" or more formally sound suppressors don't make a "pew pew" noise like in the movies.  The gun shot is still deafeningly loud and sounds exactly like a gunshot.

They reduce the sound by typically around 20dB which takes say an average 9mm pistol from 160ishdB down to 140ishdB, or 150 to 130 in some cases; doesn't matter.  While this is twice as quiet, it is still WAY above the threshold for damaging human hearing and WAY above the 90-100dB mark where people start to feel uncomfortable with sound to the point of instinctually covering their ears.
