hello yes maybe I can help with explaining this.

some tumblr-brand transfolk don't like drag culture because drag is a performance, it is a costume they get to take off at the end of the night and something they do for the entertainment of others, and some feel personally offended by this.

I've read a lot of posts complaining about that drag race tv show. I personally don't know how to feel about it (have never actually watched an episode) other than "I can see why some people would get offended, but at the same time I could see some of these drag people being baby transfolk. I feel like banning drag everything from pride is a bit much, perhaps?" but it's a whole thing, and I can see how it could make people upset, and I'd rather just not fight about it.
